Nursing beads are made from 100% safe food grade silicone that is used, for example, for baking pans. However, they can often be made of wood, for example from hard beech wood that doesn’t wear down easily. Nursing beads help moms to entertain their babies during breastfeeding, as babies sometimes don’t want to drink and sometimes like to pinch their mommy or pull her hair. Now the baby can tug on colourful beads. Thanks to high quality material, the baby can put the beads in their mouth to stimulate the gums, in the presence of their mommy. That will speed up the teeth cutting through and ease the pain. Thanks to that they’re also called teething or babywearing bead necklaces.
