Nursing beads are made from 100% safe food grade silicone that is used, for example, for baking pans. However, they can often be made of wood, for example from hard beech wood that doesn’t wear down easily. Nursing beads help moms to entertain their babies during breastfeeding, as babies sometimes don’t want to drink and sometimes like to pinch their mommy or pull her hair.
