Black scissors are a great tool for shortening fabric candle wicks that you make at home. You’ll appreciate their shape mainly when shortening wicks in containers where you wouldn’t get with ordinary scissors. The scissors are made from stainless steel so they can be washed in case they get smeared. Due to the friction of the metal parts during use, black paint can get scratched, but that does not affect the functionality of the scissors.
